2019 was a good year to travel, before the pandemic hit and closed the world down. 20 intrepid boaters headed off to Wallingford and loaded up for departure. Weather was quite agreeable with sunny days for the most part. We came across hot-air balloons, boat races, great houses and gardens, and a bunch of friendly people. Aside from our drubbing at the pub quiz in Eton (which did not put American education in a favorable light!), we had a wonderful time.
